A Solid Home Starts With a Solid Structure. STRUCTURA designs and supplies complete steel structures that form the framework of 40, 60 and 80 m² villas. It all starts with foundations adapted to the site, using concrete footings on which the structure is installed. This solution eliminates the need for a full concrete slab, reduces earthworks and makes it easier to build on sloping terrain. The villa is therefore built over a crawl space, with no direct contact with the ground. Utilities remain easily accessible beneath the floor, simplifying their installation, inspection and maintenance. The columns, perimeter beams and floor joists are assembled on these supports. The exterior wall frames are then installed, followed by the roof trusses and purlins that will support the roofing. Every component has its place. The components are prepared in the workshop, pre-drilled, identified and ready for assembly. On site, the different structural elements are mechanically connected using steel plates and bolts. No welding is required during on-site assembly. For the main load-bearing elements, STRUCTURA uses galvanized C-sections assembled back-to-back. This principle creates strong and rigid structural members while keeping the individual components easy to transport, handle and assemble. The floor system follows the same principle of strength and rigidity. Closely spaced joists form a solid base for the different floor layers. Rigidity is further enhanced by transverse bracing of the joists using threaded rods. This design creates a compact and stable floor structure while helping to reduce vibration and the resonance effect sometimes associated with raised-floor construction. All steel components are galvanized to improve corrosion protection and long-term durability. Once assembled, the structure already defines the villa: the floor, walls, openings, volumes and roof structure are all in place. Three Bases, Multiple Possibilities STRUCTURA offers three structural bases: CORE S — 40 m² CORE M — 60 m² CORE L — 80 m² Each model includes a 14 m² terrace, creating a natural extension of the living space to the outdoors. A 20 m² garage can also be added to the villa depending on the requirements of the project. The position of doors and windows, as well as the interior layout, can be adapted while respecting the structural design. The structure is in place. It now provides the foundation on which your villa can take shape. From this point on, every project can become different. Enclose and Protect the Villa The structure must now be enclosed and protected from the weather. The floor system is completed, the exterior walls are clad, doors and windows are installed, and the roofing protects the entire building. STRUCTURA offers a selection of materials suited to this stage, but clients remain free to use all or only part of these solutions, or to choose their own materials. For the walls, STRUCTURA offers, among other options, a solution using OSB panels that contribute to strengthening the walls, combined with fibre-cement cladding on the exterior and plasterboard on the interior. Once the villa is weathertight, work continues inside. Complete the Interior Insulation is installed in the floor, walls and ceiling. Among the solutions offered by STRUCTURA, polystyrene insulation panels can be used in different thicknesses depending on the required level of insulation and the climatic conditions of the project. Interior partitions then define the different spaces. Electrical wiring, water supply and drainage systems are installed before the floor and wall finishes are completed. Here again, STRUCTURA offers a selection of construction materials, but the final choice remains with the client. Solutions can be adapted to personal preferences, budget, climate and the availability of materials locally. Finally come the elements that give the home its individual character: flooring, paint finishes, kitchen, bathroom, equipment and decoration.
